KAMI - THE MOVIE

Teenage movie “KAMI” follows a group of five friends as they squeeze in as much fun and reckless abandonment on their road to self-discovery before entering a new stage in their lives – higher education. Lynn is a form five student who juggles her studies while helping her mother at their food stall and hangs out with Ali,Abu, Sofie, and Adii. Although they have made her part of their circle, Lynn is holding back a dark past from her buddies. Unknown to them Lynn and her mother had moved from their small town home to start afresh in the city away from a persistent small-time drug dealer, Boy, whom Lynn used to run errands for to gain extra pocket money. To complicate matters, Lynn writes under the pseudonym Teka Teki for her own, well known fanzine called KAMI and has recently contributed a scathing write-up on Ali’s band in a local music magazine. As she struggles to keep her secrets under wraps, Lynn soon learns that they are all hiding something from each other. MORE STORY? KLIK-----> KAMI ------------------------------------------------------ Aku dah tengok cerita ni.. but terus terang aku kata.. korang kena tengok series dia dulu baru boleh faham cerita movie ni!!! Secara peribadi... oleh kerana aku telah mengikuti siri citer KAMI ni.. aku berpendapat movie lebih baik dari tv series dia!!! Walaupun ada beberapa plot dia yg kita boleh teka (kita standard citer filem melayu) but i think pembuat cerita dan pengarah movie berjaya membuat aku stay kat dalam panggung sampai abis cerita!!! Kenapa aku tengok sampai abis cerita? Hahahaha itu korang kena find out sendiri kat panggung!!! Untuk pengetahuan korang aku sgt cerewet di dalam menilai sesebuah kualiti sesuatu wayang gambar... Walaupun KAMI -The Movie belum mencapai ke tahap yang terbaik tapi aku rasa ia telah berjaya membawa satu kelainan di dalam industri filem kita (Malaysia). Usaha penerbit filem ini seharusnya dicontohi oleh penerbit filem yang lain dari sudut keunikkan dan kreativiti... aku ni sebenarnya bukanlah sesiapa di dalam industri filem ni.. it's just my personal opinion... maybe aku salah atau bias.. lantak la korang... aku cuma nak express apa yang aku rasa.. korang tak suka? korang boleh blah!!! Apa2 pun.. aku kasi dorng 2.5 / 5 bintang!!!
